This training course has been developed in order to fill in customers’ needs to get the highest level of training for operating and maintaining complex aero-derivative gas turbines like the LM6000 DLE and LM2500 DLE gas turbines.
CE training is a combination of 5 different courses:
Control System Hardware — GAP Control Software — DLE Engine Control Operations – DLE Mapping — Real life case troubleshooting. The CE course is given by an experienced trainer who has over 16 years’ experience in operations and maintenance of a large LM6000/2500 DLE ﬂeet.
The main objective is to deliver a specialized, practice focused training for customers who want to increase their knowledge substantially up to an Expert level in a short time.
The 5 day training Part 1 covers everything from engine instrumentation — hardware control system- Fuel Metering Valves and Actuators — l&C Tooling — Special Calibrations — Woodward GAP and Tools — Troubleshooting Practices — Cases…
The theory, practices, instrumentation, measurement methodologies, special calibrations, etc… are independent from the Control System Hardware Platform. The “Workshop” teaches troubleshooting techniques based on real life cases. Although based on Woodward Control Systems (MicronetPlus and Micronet NT) and GAP Software, this training can also be followed by people working with other type control systems and or engine types.
